About the Role:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a primary school in South East London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEMH needs, promoting positive relationships and a supportive learning environment.
  • To work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to meet the individual needs of the pupil.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally Social Emotional Mental Health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Salary Information:

Estimated salary for this position is £90-105 per day, depending on experience.
