Mental Health Assistant for Secondary School Pupils

EdEx Education Recruitment is working with a highly-regarded Secondary School in Wandsworth to find an exceptional Mental Health Assistant for Secondary School Pupils.

This full-time, long-term position involves assisting class teachers with delivering material centred around the core subjects, including English, Maths and Science. The successful candidate will also provide support to children with SEN/SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more.

We are looking for a graduate with strong academics, including a 2:1 or 1st Class degree, and someone with a passion to make a huge difference to the lives of young people.

About the Role:
  • Supporting pupils with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Assisting class teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Leading 1:1 and small group interventions targeting pupil progress
