About the Role:

We are seeking a Primary School Mental Health Assistant to join our team in an Outstanding school in Greenwich. This role is ideal for those looking to develop their skills in supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health needs and move forward in their career.

The successful candidate will work closely with SEMH pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and develop your expertise in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support and guidance to SEMH pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Developing and implementing strategies to help pupils overcome challenges
- Working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective support for pupils

Requirements:
- Recent Psychology Graduate or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
