About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Tutor to join our team at Smart Education Recruitment. As a Home Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition to students in the comfort of their own homes or in a tuition centre with full supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to students aged 4-24, tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and develop personalized learning plans using the National Curriculum.
  • Work with students who may have behavioral or special educational needs, providing additional support and guidance as required.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience of tutoring or teaching, with a strong track record of student progress and achievement.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to work flexibly, with a minimum of 10 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
