£11.44 per hour.

12-14 hours in the school holidays.

**About Me**

I am 4 years old and I use a wheelchair. I have complex needs and need help with all aspects of daily life. I am able speak and sign.

I’m a happy little girl who wants to have the companionship of playing games, story's, crafts, and going for walks. I also enjoy relaxing at home.

I like people to be friendly, caring and reassuring towards me as I am only young.

**Job details**
- Your role would be to support me at home and when we go out, I have a wheelchair accessible car, I am gastronomy fed and need help with all aspects of my care.
- Sometimes you may be asked to come and support me in a family outing.

**About You**
- Previous experience of similar work is desirable but not essential, as I will make sure you get the training you need._

You must be able to understand the importance of confidentiality, be patient, calm, be a good communicator and have a good sense of humour.

**You will need to be a car driver/owner** and be physically fit enough to undertake any manual handling needed.

**About Direct Payments**

Direct payments are available from Local Authorities for people who have a care and support plan in place following a social care assessment. An amount of money is allocated to purchase the assistance and care needed to live independently.

I should stress that My Mum will be your employer and have full responsibility for recruitment, contracts, supervision, pay, training etc. A support service assists her in meeting her responsibilities as an employer.

**Hours**:These are the mínimally contracted hours. If I require additional support at other times I will try to give as much notice as possible, an ability to be flexible would be an advantage

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 14 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
