Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Oxford. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the Audit team and Senior Managers to ensure the delivery of first-class service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of audit services.
- Work closely with the Audit team and Senior Managers to ensure the delivery of first-class service, championing quality and compliance.
- Carry out accounting processes and best practices to ensure accurate production of information, including preparation of tax computations and statutory financial statements.
- Run audits from planning to completion, supervising audit teams during planning, fieldwork, and completion stages.
- Build strong rapport with clients, proactively problem-solving and handling queries, and liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of industry developments.
- Organise your own workload, ensuring client expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met, and champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities where possible.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- ACA/ACCA qualification, or equivalent, with recent experience assisting on audit assignments within a practice environment.
- Working knowledge of relevant audit software, including Caseware.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbally, with a strong time management and positive, can-do attitude.
- A team player with the ability to work autonomously and organise your own workload.
- A drive for progression and self-development within the firm.
