Cybersecurity Leader for Regional Americas

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Leader to join our team in the Americas region. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who share your passion for cybersecurity.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide expert technical leadership for F5's Security Incident Response Team (SIRT). They will be responsible for addressing security issues in F5 products and networks, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive mitigation of security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry standards, including CVE, CPE, and CVSS, as well as strong experience with security frameworks and NIST standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the F5 SIRT team to address security issues in F5 products and networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive mitigation of security incidents
- Develop and deliver security content and training based on research and testing within the security field and with F5 products
- Provide expert incident handling and drive both attack analysis and mitigation options
- Maintain incident documentation and participate in post-mortems
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical security role, such as support, monitoring, or consulting
- Expert understanding of industry standards, including CVE, CPE, and CVSS
- Strong experience with security frameworks and NIST standards
- Appropriate security-based qualification, such as CISSP or GCIH
- Public cloud certifications, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
