**Base Coordinator**:
Location: Chertsey, Surrey
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Regional Manager

**Company Overview**:
Le Boat, a division of Travelopia, specializes in inland waterway boating holidays, operating globally with a fleet of 950 charter boats across 37 bases in 9 countries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage team activities, focusing on customer service, scheduling, and reporting to management on invoicing, finance, and recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Develop and improve local operating procedures and policies.
- Manage office administration, including reception duties and base maintenance.
- Handle customer complaints and third-party claims efficiently.
- Monitor supplier orders, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain accurate stock records and manage payroll.
- Ensure boats are well-maintained and presented to customers.
- Achieve customer satisfaction and revenue targets.
- Communicate regularly with management and other departments.
- Ensure security of base assets and report incidents promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office).
- Ability to work towards deadlines and targets.
- Valid driving license, ocassionally attend at the other base in Benson, Oxfordshire.
- Enthusiasm for holidays and Le Boat products.
- Technical or maintenance experience is advantageous.
