Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a leading technical recruitment agency, we specialize in placing top talent in various industries across the UK.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of air conditioning systems, including VRV's, VRF's, and splits. Experience with Water Chiller units and air-cooled chillers is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of F-Gas Cat 1 certification and an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing and repair work on air conditioning and AHU's
- Servicing Water Chiller units, with a strong understanding of electrical systems
- Work within a 40-hour working week, with travel paid after 30 minutes each way
- Participate in an on-call rota, with a 1 in 10 week schedule
- F-Gas Cat 1 certification
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration
- Full driving license
- Based within commutable distance to the Reading area
- Basic salary of £45,000 to £52,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- Company vehicle provided, with optional personal use
- 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays
- Overtime paid at additional rates
