What you'll be doing:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales professional in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning field. Reporting to the Reading branch, your main focus will be business growth. You will use your expertise and people skills to secure new clients and maintain existing client relationships, including visiting sites regularly.

As a sales engineer, you will provide our clients with impeccable advice and assist in the design of HVAC systems according to client specifications, providing quotes and closing the deal.

What do you need to have?

  • Proven sales background in refrigeration, air conditioning, chillers, and/or AHU's
  • Customer relationship management experience within the industry
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of a wide range of systems
  • High financial and commercial awareness with the ability to manage large budgets and resources
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to forge strong business relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, and contractors
  • A thorough understanding of and ability to deliver outstanding and continuous customer service
  • Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office 365
  • Due to the safeguarding requirements of our clients, we complete confidential criminal record checks on all roles that attend customer sites. If you are successful, you will be required to complete an Advanced DBS Check with Barred Lists check. We strictly follow the DBS Code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HVAC systems and solutions
  • Assist in the design and specification of HVAC systems
  • Provide quotes and close deals

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry
  • Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
