We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Surveyor to join our team in the development of complex infrastructure projects. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for providing measured surveys of land, buildings, and utilities, generating cartographic production, and configuring/improving topographic & utilities baselines.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Provide professional surveying services to the GIS & Project Teams, gathering and verifying topographic and utility asset data using mobile or traditional topographic survey techniques.
  • Process 3rd party survey data for inclusion into the corporate asset management systems.
  • Review data returned from projects and other surveys against corporate specifications.
  • Work with the Survey Manager regarding survey specifications, tender assessments, and support to all aspects relating to survey.
  • Understand and apply responsibilities with regards to the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality Standards.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Land Surveying and/or relevant subject or equivalent and demonstrable experience in a working environment.
  • Good knowledge of survey data production principles and drawing output using N4CE and AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of Leica Captivate, GS18 GNSS, CS20 Controller, and TS15/16 Total Station equipment, Digital Levels as well as Leica RTC360 Laser Scanners.
  • Understanding of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in relation to survey and relevant data types.
  • Survey experience in land and building surveying, with experience of utilities surveying desirable.
  • High-quality cartographic production, attention to detail with pride in output quality and presentation.
