About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our oncology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with cancer, including those undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) and supportive therapies.
  • Provide clinical leadership to nursing teams and maintain credibility through practice.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing SACT and other supportive medications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
Requirements
  • Registration with the NMC and a degree-level qualification in nursing.
  • Experience in oncology or a related field, with a strong understanding of SACT and supportive therapies.
  • Advanced assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Computer literacy, with experience of using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
