About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced physical assessment and management of day care patients receiving systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT)
  • Lead clinical teams and maintain credibility through practice, ensuring a high-quality and safe patient service
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, referring patients to specialist services as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • Registration with the NMC and a degree-level qualification in nursing
  • Experience in oncology or a related field, with a strong understanding of SACT and its management
  • Advanced assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
