We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with cancer, including those undergoing systemic anti-cancer treatments (SACT) and supportive therapies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing SACT and other medications, and arranging follow-up care as needed.
- Provide support and advice to nursing, medical, and allied health professionals on the management of SACT patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Degree-level study or equivalent, with a focus on oncology or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of SACT and oncology care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lead and manage complex projects, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
