Care and Support Worker - Residential Setting

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Care and Support Worker to join our team in providing tailored care and support to children and young people in our residential settings.

About the Position:

  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver individualized care packages for children and young people, catering to their unique needs.
  • To assist in the development of daily living skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
  • To maintain accurate records of service user activities, progress, and any issues that may arise.
  • To contribute to a safe and supportive environment by promoting positive relationships and managing challenging behavior.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • A minimum of 39 hours per week (including sleep-in shifts), demonstrating your commitment to this role.
  • A willingness to work in a residential setting with children and young people, understanding their requirements and challenges.
  • The ability to form strong, positive relationships with service users, colleagues, and other professionals.
  • An understanding of safeguarding principles and an ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Compensation Package:

  • A competitive salary of up to £29,594.04 - £30,141.60 per annum (including sleep-in shifts), acknowledging the value of this position.
