Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estate Surveyor to join our Industrial team as a Lease Consultancy Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of lease consultancy work, including rent reviews and lease renewals, to produce the best possible results for our clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of the industrial lease consultancy business with investors, funds, and occupiers.
  • Negotiate rent reviews, lease renewals, and regears on behalf of landlords and tenants.
  • Conduct property inspections, negotiate with clients, and prepare third-party submissions as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, using exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of internal and external contacts to further develop business for Gerald Eve.

About You

  • MRICS qualified
  • Technical knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
  • Technical knowledge of valuing a range of property types, with experience in industrial properties an advantage
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while being an excellent team player
  • Proven IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated with a real desire to deliver excellent customer service
  • Full driving license

Working Hours

The normal hours of work for this position are 0900hrs to 1730hrs, Monday to Friday. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone.
