Communication Facilitator in Education

The Pertemps Network Group is seeking a dedicated Communication Facilitator to join our team at a specialist school for deaf students in Haringey. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth.
About the Position:- Assist students in accessing the curriculum through expert communication support.
- Liaise with teachers and other staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop tailored learning plans to cater to individual students' needs.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and share updates with relevant parties.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) is a prerequisite.
- Previous experience working with deaf students in a school or similar setting is required.
- A comprehensive understanding of deaf students' needs and effective communication methods.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Superb organizational and interpersonal skills.
