Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter or Generator Engineer to join our team at Welfare 4 Hire Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of welfare units, which includes generators, water purification systems and other associated equipment.


Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and possess excellent diagnostic skills. They will be required to work independently, diagnosing and repairing issues with our welfare units, as well as providing support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing welfare units, including generators and associated equipment;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure;
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with welfare units;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support;
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices;
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to work at heights;
  • Valid UK driving license.
