We are seeking an experienced Generator Engineer or Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Welfare 4 Hire Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of welfare units, both in depot and on customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and generator engineering, with the ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs. A good understanding of electrical systems and mechanics is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair welfare units, including generators, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with generators and electrical systems.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in generator engineering or mechanical fitting.
  • Diploma or certificate in mechanical fitting or a related field.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and mechanics.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
