Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Data Centre Specialist to join our team at PRS LTD in Farnborough, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work locally with a Monday-Friday role in a data centre.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience working within and around critical services plant, delivering planned & reactive maintenance to electrical, mechanical and general HVAC/building services systems. Key responsibilities include performing planned and reactive engineering work, supervising operational and maintenance activities, and providing customer-focused service as the team's engineering SME.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive engineering work, including daily, weekly proactive tasks, alarm response, fault finding, maintenance, repairs, and modification of equipment relating to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Be responsible for technical service delivery governance, including audits.
  • Ensure high standards of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Compliance with fire protection system regulations.

Requirements:

  • Educated to HNC/HND or degree level in an Electrical/Electronic Engineering discipline.
  • Possess a high-level understanding of the data centre environment.
  • Proactively evaluate all plant and equipment, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
  • Accurate recording and reporting of maintenance activity to ensure CMMS system is updated.
