Operations Director Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading Civil Engineering company to find an experienced Operations Director to join their senior management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a multi-utility framework contract with a turnover in excess of £80M per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a senior operations team across the South East
  • Ensure the overall programming of works, keeping clients updated and ensuring required resources are available
  • Ensure compliance with SHEQ guidelines
  • Provide operational support to the commercial team, working under NEC3 form of contract
  • Act as a key point of contact to clients, resolving issues and managing a heat map
  • Manage and delegate staff and contractors across all departments
  • Performance management and process improvement to ensure efficient project operations
  • Management and reporting on internal KPI's
  • Ensure systems are used compliantly with correct processes carried out
  • Overview of delivery risk management, ensuring opportunities are maximised
Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating at a senior level on high profile utility works for a tier one company with values in excess of £50M per annum
  • Excellent commercial, programme and performance management skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to delegate at all levels
