Young Persons Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled team manager to join our team at Corus Consultancy. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
About the Role:- Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
- Working hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (occasionally 10am - 6pm)
This is a temporary cover position that may lead to a longer-term opportunity. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of staff, providing effective line management, supervision, training, and development opportunities.
- Direct team members in their day-to-day work to ensure service users receive a consistent, high-quality, and responsive service.
- Ensure each client has an individual package of support with regular formal and informal key working, up-to-date support plans, risk assessments, and needs assessments.
- Oversee referrals, ensuring they meet the criteria and service specification, and ensure that referrals are interviewed, assessed, and accepted/rejected in line with policy.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Islington Young Peoples Pathways and referral agencies.
- Ensure preparation for move-on begins once the young person moves into the service, and provide a comprehensive package of life skills training.
- Adhere to move-on targets as detailed in the service specification and respond to the priorities of the local authority.
- Implement robust procedures for managing missing young people and provide various approaches for non-engaging clients.
- Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard and implement effective systems for efficient housing management.
- Experience working with young people in an accommodation-based service.
- Experience of staff and service management, including managing staff performance and motivating staff members.
- High-level understanding of managing complex issues involved in delivering quality services to young people with complex needs.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- IT skills necessary for maintaining data and fulfilling monitoring requirements.
