Job Title: IELTS Speaking Test Examiner

Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd (MTS) is a leading global exam service provider for various exam boards across the UK and Ireland, as well as an online exam preparation school.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced IELTS Speaking Test Examiners to work on a part-time basis in Bradford. As an Examiner, you will conduct face-to-face IELTS exam Speaking section interviews and assessments, maintaining the required standards set by the IELTS Professional Support Network (PSN) and the British Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct IELTS Speaking tests and assessments, adhering to the required standards.
  • Communicate effectively with test takers and colleagues.
  • Participate in Examiner meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain the reputation and integrity of IELTS, MTS, and the British Council.
Requirements:
  • Be an approved and active IELTS Speaking Test Examiner with the British Council or IDP Australia.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience.
  • Hold a UK government Enhanced DBS check (or Garda Vetting equivalent in Ireland).
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK/Ireland.
Working Conditions:
  • Work on a part-time basis, mostly on Saturdays.
  • Typically conduct 8 tests per day, with 20-minute breaks after every 6 tests.
  • Pay rate: £12 per test taker (€13.92), inclusive of holiday pay.
  • Expenses: Up to £25.00 (€29.00) per test day, with full travel costs reimbursed for non-local venues.
