Job Title: IELTS Speaking Test Examiner

Mobile Testing Solutions Ltd (MTS) is a leading global exam service provider for various exam boards across the UK and Ireland, as well as an online exam preparation school.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced IELTS Speaking Test Examiners to work on a part-time basis in Bradford. As an IELTS Speaking Test Examiner, you will conduct face-to-face IELTS exam Speaking section interviews and assessments, maintaining the required standards set by the IELTS Professional Support Network (PSN) and the British Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct IELTS Speaking section interviews and assessments, adhering to the required standards.
  • Work on a part-time basis, with mostly Saturday shifts.
  • Assess test taker volumes, which can vary, but are typically around 8 test takers per Examiner per day.
  • Each speaking test takes 20 minutes to complete and assess, with 20-minute breaks mandatory after every 6 test takers.
  • Collaborate with the Examiner's Trainer and Centre Administrator to ensure adherence to directives and policies.
Requirements:
  • Be an approved and active IELTS Speaking Test Examiner with the British Council or IDP Australia.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree or a qualification equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
  • Have a recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL/TEFL) or a recognized equivalent.
  • possess at least 3 years' full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience, with the majority relating to adult students (16 years and over).
  • Hold or be willing to comply with a UK government Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or Garda Vetting equivalent in Ireland).
  • Be eligible to live and work in the UK/Ireland.
