We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Examiners to conduct IELTS Speaking Test interviews and assessments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct IELTS Speaking Test Interviews: Examiners will be responsible for conducting face-to-face IELTS Speaking Test interviews with candidates, ensuring that the tests are conducted in a fair and unbiased manner.
  • Assess IELTS Speaking Test Candidates: Examiners will assess the speaking skills of candidates, providing detailed feedback and marking their performance in accordance with the IELTS Professional Support Network and British Council standards.
  • Meet Quality Standards: Examiners must adhere to the highest standards of quality, ensuring that all tests are conducted and assessed in accordance with the IELTS Professional Support Network and British Council policies.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Examiners will work closely with other team members, including Examiner Trainers and Centre Administrators, to ensure that all tests are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Examiners must maintain the confidentiality of all test materials and candidate information, adhering to the IELTS Professional Support Network and British Council confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Examiners must hold a recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL/TEFL) or a recognized equivalent as part of a recognized university award course.
  • Experience: Examiners must have at least 3 years' full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience, with the majority of this experience relating to adult students (16 years and over).
  • DBS Check: Examiners must hold or be willing to comply with a UK government Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or Garda Vetting equivalent in Ireland).
  • Language Skills: Examiners must have excellent language skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Examiners must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates.
