Market 36 Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Credit Controller to join our client's team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with occasional office visits, contributing to the financial success of the agency's account department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raise accurate Sales Invoices and forward them to clients in accordance with their requirements.
  • Meticulously check billing plans and rectify errors.
  • Manage credit control for a group of clients, ensuring timely payments.
  • Liaise with the Media team to reconcile Digital monthly spends with purchase orders.
  • Support the accounts team in accurately processing Cost of Sales invoices in Synergist, aligning them with purchase orders/serial numbers.
  • Process Overhead invoices on Sage, supporting the Accounts team.
  • Assist with pays runs and expenses processing.
  • Conduct regular housekeeping on ledgers to maintain accuracy.
  • Provide support to the Accounts team with account queries.
  • Perform general accounts tasks as required.
  • Update administrative systems as necessary, promoting efficient housekeeping and adherence to company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in credit control.
  • AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proficiency in working within a fast-paced accounts environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAGE 50 software.
  • A solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts.
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Benefits and Remuneration

This position offers a competitive salary of £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.
