Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, United Kingdom IfM Engage Full time
Business Development and Programme Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development and Programme Director to join our team at IfM Engage. As a key member of our Executive and Professional Development (EPD) team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality executive and professional education programmes based on the research outputs from the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) and Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development and programme management, with a particular focus on technology and innovation management. You will be responsible for engaging with technology-based and/or manufacturing organisations and their employees to co-create and sell bespoke programmes and sell places on substantive individual development programmes, often involving project-based elements.

We have a range of new and exciting programme concepts that we are keen to develop and bring to market, and this role will play a key part in making this happen. You will work closely with academics from across the Institute to develop and deliver programmes that are interdisciplinary and involve technology, management, and policy aspects.

This is a full-time role based in Cambridge, with a salary band of £58,000 - £64,000, plus a generous benefits package, including healthcare. We operate an 'office first' hybrid working policy, with 60% of working time spent in the office.

We are open to conversations around flexible working and are committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment. If you are a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for business development and programme management, we would love to hear from you.
