Telephone Crisis Support Specialist

This position involves delivering urgent support and guidance via telephone to children, young people up to 18 years old, and their families/carers who contact the Crisis line seeking help for their mental health issues.

Main Objectives:
  • Initial assessment, information provision, support, signposting, and guidance on managing mental health over the phone.
  • Clinical oversight of risk assessments, response to urgent needs for assessment, and clinical supervision to junior team members.
  • Conducting quality checks and extracting data for national reviews.
