We are seeking an experienced and skilled Gastrointestinal Clinical Specialist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position, lasting 18 months, with a competitive salary of £**£45,753 per annum**, plus benefits. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for autonomously performing specialist nurse procedures in line with Trust protocols and NMC guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on patient care and contributing to the development of the corporate nursing strategy;
  • Representing the Trust at external events and networking with professional colleagues;
  • Participating in clinical audit projects and gathering information for ongoing audits;
  • Providing physical, psychological, and social support for patients diagnosed with Upper GI conditions;
  • Organising meetings for Upper GI groups and providing educational sessions to multidisciplinary teams.
