Homes for Students Careers is a leading provider of student accommodation in the UK.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join our Finance team at Harrogate, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Universal Client Team, serving as the primary contact for staff members, investors, and the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of work orders from property teams to refund rent and deposits.
- Collaborate closely with property teams to address student account queries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Process bulk refunds and uploads, ensuring timely and secure transactions.
- Upload invoices and payments from the booking system to the financial system, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Create payment files through bank accounts, adhering to company protocols and procedures.
- Post and reconcile month-end sales recharges, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct internal audit sampling, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Provide general finance support, addressing ad-hoc tasks and contributing to the team's success.
The role requires excellent communication skills, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. We offer a competitive salary of £15.58 per hour, reflecting the importance of this position in our organization.
