Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for facilitating production by ensuring timely delivery of materials and consumables. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure all production materials and consumables are ordered and scheduled for delivery in compliance with Company policies.
  • To record stock levels and purchase stock in a timely manner, updating systems to reflect orders placed and received.
  • To develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues across departments to improve communication and understanding within the business.
  • To lead and support research and analysis for key business projects and developments.
  • To generate reports on stock, stock holdings, and stock agreements, and provide full analysis for specific customer accounts.
Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Awareness of materials and supply chains used in production.
  • Relevant experience in statistical analysis and trend analysis.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Commercial Acumen.
  • Organizational and priority management skills.
