Teaching and Learning Support Specialist

About the Job:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching and Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting students aged 5-19 with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults in an SEN setting.
- Collaborative, empathetic approach and strong communication skills.
- Ability to foster trust and establish strong, positive relationships with students.
- Flexibility to engage in different therapeutic and academic strategies.
Salary:£29,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
