Learning & Development Opportunity



We are seeking a skilled Learning & Development Specialist to partner with our business and deliver our learning and development strategy on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our HR team, you will work closely with managers to build and develop leadership and coaching capability, including career development, performance management, and succession planning.



Key responsibilities include:




  • Working with the HR Manager to allocate and utilize budget resources to enhance and build skills for the future.
  • Supporting managers to develop leadership and coaching capability, including career development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Following up and progressing the effectiveness of L&D initiatives.
  • Using data-driven decision making to challenge and enhance the L&D offering and processes to optimize budget, employee experience, and business impact.
  • Optimizing, enhancing, and building engagement for digital learning capability by strategic deployment and development of the LMS.
  • Generalist HR duties, including ER, as required by business needs.


Requirements include:




  • Proven experience of working with internal and/or external customers in a proactive partnering capacity to ensure the highest quality employee experience.
  • Experience of designing, developing, and delivering L&D solutions.
  • Experience of supporting performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Experience of administering or working with a Learning Management System or digital and online learning.


We offer a full-time equivalent salary up to £34,500 and a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 40% of time based in our head office.
