Job Title: Learning Support Assistant for Mixed Comprehensive School in Newbury

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at a respected comprehensive school in Newbury. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and succeed academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs across all year groups
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective support strategies
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them access the curriculum
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working as an LSA, particularly with students with special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and effective support practices
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A clear DBS and legal ability to work within the UK
