SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide SEMH support to students in a Primary/Secondary School in Newbury. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school's staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About the role:
This is a temporary opportunity to work with a fantastic Primary/Secondary School in Newbury, supporting students with SEMH needs. Our team at Engage Education has a strong reputation for providing high-quality teaching assistants to local schools, and we are looking for someone to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide SEMH support to students in a Primary/Secondary School setting
- Work with small groups of pupils to deliver targeted interventions
- Support the development of students' social, emotional, and mental health skills
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Level 2 or 3 support staff qualification
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
