SEN Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful SEN schools. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the children to provide social, emotional, and physical support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, SEMH or other learning disabilities.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and maintain an organized classroom setting.
- Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and participation.
- Help students with daily tasks such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress.
- Be enthusiastic and want to work with SEN children.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school or childcare setting.
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
