About the Role

The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with a Multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist interventions and lead practitioner support for clients.
  • Contribute to the improvement of service quality through evidence-based practice, audit activities, and research participation.
  • Participate in regular caseload reviews and contribute to the development of family interventions within the service.
  • Support the wellbeing of staff and patients through proactive engagement and collaboration with the internal wellbeing team.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
  • Education to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, either paid or voluntary.
  • Understanding of the scope of the role of the nursing associate in the context of the team and the organisation.
