About the Role
The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Associate to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals living with severe and enduring mental health problems, providing specialist interventions and acting as a Lead Practitioner for a defined caseload of clients under the supervision of one of our Mental Health Nurses.
Main Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with a Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Contribute to the improvement of service delivery through participation in audit activities, reflection on practice, and suggestions for innovation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the development of new policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote health and safety, and contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.
Person Specification
- Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
- Education to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice.
- Previous experience of working within a healthcare setting, either paid or voluntary.
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the nursing associate in the context of the team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development.
