About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Merchandise team as a Merchandise Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores and website have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. This will involve working closely with our buying team and suppliers to plan and build our product ranges, maximizing profitability and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock and manage the critical path to ensure stock is delivered on time.
  • Identify trends and review sales performance for your department categories to inform buying decisions.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and be the go-to person for any queries around stock intake.
  • Support the Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandiser with sales reporting and general admin and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the buying department on your category, working with the Buying Assistant to drive forward trade.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a love of Excel - spreadsheets are essential.
  • Strong team ethos – working together and building excellent relationships with your team and key partnerships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Awareness of high street, catwalk, and competitor key trends.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage your own time.
  • Retail/store experience would be beneficial.
  • For Senior Merchandise Coordinator vacancies, previous experience within a similar merchandising or allocation role is required.
