Job Title: Director of Banking

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Banking to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will be responsible for managing credit risk activities across our Institutional Client Group organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line credit approval for complex transactions and balance sheet commitments.
  • Develop and implement leading practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with global and regional business heads, independent risk, regulators, and other control functions.
  • Facilitate relationships with key clients in banking and risk, and with key regulators, internal audit, and control functions.
  • Oversee the preparation of key deliverables, such as credit approval memos and senior approval forums.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of risk/risk-related credit work experience in banking/financial institutions.
  • L2 Senior Credit Officer designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with regulators and internal control functions.
