Job Title: Director, Business Banking

At OakNorth, we're on a mission to empower businesses with £1m-£100m in turnover to reach their growth ambitions. As a Director of Business Banking, you'll play a key role in scaling our client base and deposit book at pace.

About the Role:
  • Grow the deposit book of Business Banking through sourcing, acquiring, and onboarding new business customers.
  • Expand deposit-led relationships into full transaction banking relationships as our suite of Business Banking features develops.
  • Represent and build the brand of OakNorth as a Business Banking provider through events and relationships with external introducers.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the business banking sector.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with Key Business Introducers to generate Business Banking clients.
What You'll Need:
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in a Business/Commercial Associate Director or Director role preferably within the UK financial services or FinTech industries.
  • Strong understanding of business banking products, payments systems, and digital banking trends.
  • Demonstrated track record of deposit and revenue growth, building new and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
