Job Title: Associate Director, Business

At OakNorth, we're on a mission to empower businesses with £1m-£100m in turnover to reach their growth ambitions. As an Associate Director for Business Banking, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our client base and deposit book at pace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire new Business Banking clients and foster relationships to drive growth.
  • Grow client relationships to move their full transaction banking to OakNorth.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Business Banking and Debt Finance teams to develop and implement innovative banking solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the business banking sector.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with Key Business Introducers to generate Business Banking clients.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a Business/Commercial Business Development role preferably within the UK financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business banking products, payments systems, and digital banking trends.
  • Demonstrated track record of deposit and revenue growth, building new and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to harness client and colleague relationships to achieve business goals.
