About the Role:


We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at Nisbets. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing efficient resolution of invoice queries, managing supplier accounts, and assisting with monthly reconciliations.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
  • Assist with the month-end close of the Purchase Ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify and implement procedural improvements.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the ledger and accounts function.
