Senior Compliance Manager, Academic Section

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our Academic Section at the University of Essex. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our student immigration compliance requirements are met, while also providing leadership and management for our International Services team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support institutional compliance within the context of evolving internal and external developments
- Provide leadership and management for the International Services team, responsible for day-to-day oversight of student immigration compliance
- Deliver training and briefings to students, colleagues, and teams on student immigration compliance requirements
- Manage budgets and ensure effective and customer-focused processes and services
- Contribute to the successful operation of the Academic Section, reporting directly to the Academic Registrar
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent leadership and management skills, a creative and flexible approach, and a deep understanding of UK Higher Education immigration compliance requirements. You will have a proven track record of managing complex teams and budgets, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
