Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Children's Residential Service based in South West London as a Senior Residential Childcare Manager.

About the Role:
  • Be responsible to the Registered Manager for the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Deliver direct work with children and lead staff to operate within legal parameters.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop positive childcare practice in line with the aims and objectives of the organisation.
  • Maintain a safe, warm, and supportive environment for young people.
  • Assist with the planning and organisation of the home.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in residential childcare, including 2 years as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker.
  • Ability to work full-time (average 39 hours per week) and cover some weekends and bank holidays.
  • NVQ L3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.

The competitive salary for this role is £38,000 - £45,000 per year, with opportunities to increase pay through incremental raises. Additionally, you will have the chance to develop your skills with the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare after 2 years.
