Deputy Children's Home Manager

Location: West London, Feltham

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our team in a welcoming and nurturing environment. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional outcomes for children and young people.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Supporting the Home Manager: Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the service.
  2. Leading a Team: Supervise and lead a team of care staff, guaranteeing high-quality care standards are met.
  3. Care Planning: Assist in developing personalized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
  4. Safeguarding: Promote a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel supported and protected.
  5. Liaising with External Agencies: Develop strong relationships with external agencies, including social workers, schools, and health services.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in a residential or care setting is essential.
  • Qualifications: A Level 5 Residential Childcare qualification or willingness to work towards this certification.
  • Flexibility: A reliable and flexible approach to work is crucial.
  • Passion: A strong passion for creating positive outcomes for the children and young people you support.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
