Job Title: Youth Residential Care Team Leader

Location: Area Camden Group

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Youth Residential Care Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of our service delivery.

You will promote a caring environment that provides young people with a high standard of support, meeting individual needs, and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in supervising, monitoring, and evaluating the care delivered to young people.
  • Ensure legal and up-to-date registration requirements are met in line with Area Camden's Statement of Purpose.
  • Supervise Key/Support Workers and ensure supervision processes are implemented and recorded with designated staff.
  • Support the RM with the day-to-day running of all aspects of the home, including standards and quality of care, recruitment and training, communication with the team, premises of the Care Home, and financial matters.
Requirements
  • Residential childcare experience (2+ years)
  • Hold Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
  • Child Protection experience
  • Leadership and staff supervision skills
  • Management of budgets and staff rotas
  • Project management skills and an enthusiastic disposition
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
