Event Sales and Promotions Opportunity

Get Golfing CIO is seeking a skilled Event Sales and Promotions professional to join our team. As a key member of our events department, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our event services and facilities to individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell event services and facilities to potential clients, ensuring a seamless planning and execution of all events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
  • Conduct site visits and showcase the venue and event spaces to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop tailored event proposals and packages that meet client needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth event execution, including logistics, catering, and audiovisual services.
  • Manage event bookings, contracts, and invoicing to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.

Familiarisation and Onboarding
  • A comprehensive induction program, including a visit to relevant local Get Golfing venues to learn about our ethos and operations.

  • A welcome lunch with site managers and GM to introduce you to the team and discuss your role and responsibilities.
