Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant for children with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with children who may have additional needs or are looked after children
  2. Support tutors in providing educational sessions, face-to-face with children at their homes or a local area
  3. Build rapport and a good relationship with pupils
  4. Help keep children engaged with tasks
  5. De-escalate challenging behaviour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a classroom setting
  • Experience working with a variety of SEND/SEMH needs
  • Ability to implement different behaviour strategies
