Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team as a Bank Palliative Nurse.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a flexible role, providing holistic care to palliative patients within their own homes.

About the Role

As a Bank Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, guided by their needs and wishes.

You will work closely with patients, their families, and carers to provide tailored support and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' recent experience in palliative care and hold relevant post-registration qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to palliative care patients and their carers within their own homes.
  • Work within established protocols and guidelines to deliver care as specified in our policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with DN & Community Nursing Teams to receive and provide timely reports of patient changes.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has a minimum of two years' recent experience in palliative care.
  • Holds relevant post-registration qualifications, such as ENB 931 or Diploma in Palliative Care.
  • Is registered with the NMC and adheres to the Code of Professional Conduct.
